REGARDING COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS)

Updated Nov 23, 2021

Although face coverings are optional at City of Mesa facilities, we encourage visitors to continue to exercise precautions, including getting vaccinated, wearing masks and staying at home when not feeling well. Additionally, we will continue to maintain enhanced cleaning practices and provide hand sanitizer at all City of Mesa buildings.

We are actively monitoring the course of the pandemic in Arizona as we strive to balance public safety and the services we provide to residents, businesses, employees and visitors.

What We Are Doing To Keep You Safe:

Mesa Arts Center remains vigilant and continues to take necessary precautions issued by health officials. While the facility has established rigorous cleanliness protocols, additional procedures have been added, including but not limited to the following:

  • Displayed signs in all restrooms and eating areas to encourage frequent hand washing and proper cough/sneeze containment
  • Availability of disposable sanitizing wipes for students, guests and employees
  • Frequent cleaning of hard surfaces and touchpoints throughout the facility, including door handles, light switches, handrails, armrests, elevator buttons, tools, kiosks and counters
  • Availability of hand sanitizer stations in high traffic areas
  • Continued increase of cleaning procedures

As always, if you have any questions, our staff is here to help.

For roughly the first 75 years of its history, the City of Mesa was contained within the "original square mile," bordered by what are now University Drive, Broadway Road, Country Club Drive and Mesa Drive. Mesa Arts Center stands at the exact center of that square mile, at One East Main Street.

Today, downtown Mesa is a diverse mix of culture, business, government, arts, recreation and entertainment. Anchored by the international award winning Mesa Arts Center, you'll find unique shops, diverse restaurants, award-winning museums and much more in Mesa's original mile-square district.
